Thursday, August 26, 2010 – ALL FORMS ARE DUE - NOTARIZED
Summer Band Concert at Midland Memorial Stadium (by First
Baptist Church)
*Boosters will begin serving food at 5:30pm. Everyone and their
family members are encouraged to buy tickets.
*Warm up begins on the field at 6:15pm
* Wear purple, gold, yellow or white - blue jeans, blue pants,
or blue shorts, dark colored tennis shoes if possible or even
black band uniforms shoes.
*Concert starts at 7:00pm, should be over by 8:30pm
We will be doing some marching as well as playing! Bring your
instrument and all music.

MHS v. Amarillo HS – Make sure you have black, shoes, socks,
gloves, shirt, etc.
*Parents will have food at MHS for students to eat before the
rehearsal/game. Make sure you bring a few dollars for this and
raise your hand when we start asking for a count.
*4:45pm - warm-up and rehearse on the practice field
*Finish rehearsing at 5:30pm
*Change into band uniforms at the school.
*Inspection at 6:00pm – Full band uniform. Hopefully, the show
shirts will be ready. If they are not ready, wear a previous
year show shirt or a black t-shirt. If a black shirt is not
possible, wear a dark colored t-shirt. We will check for the
correct band shoes, gloves, long black socks, flip folders and
music, instrument clean and in good working condition – reeds
etc., hatboxes, hats, etc.
*Depart for Grande at 6:30pm
*Arrive at Grande at 6:45pm
*March around the track at 7:10pm
*Pregame starts at 7:15pm.
*Game starts at 7:30pm
*Halftime around 8:45pm
*Game over around 10:15pm
*Return to school and unload at approximately 11:15pm.
